Terrible Twos have arrived!

After trying to put Ava to sleep three times today for her afternoon nap, this is what happened at 5pm. This power struggle appears many times throughout the day. Everything from putting a shirt on to eating lunch becomes a battle. But she is so cute, isn't she?

Hunger Strike

Ava has been on a food moratorium lately. The only foods we can get her to eat are packets of sugar at restaurants, soy sauce and milk. We had a breakthrough tonight and discovered that she will eat anything as long as she is allowed to "wash" dishes at the kitchen sink. Who knew...

Pumpkins!

Hello Autumn!

We finally had a nice, cool autumn day in Tucson today. The high was only 82 degrees! Ava and Grant had a great time playing outside while we did a bit of yardwork.

Now, you know I was going to go there eventually....

Everyone poos, including Ava. Now, in the toilet! Congratulations! Next feat: putting socks on!

Crawling...finally!

Grant is 9-months-old

Here is how the babies stack up against each other: at 9-months of age Ava= 19.7lbs Grant= 20.12lbs, Ava=28.5"tall Grant= 30"tall, Ava=47cm head circ. Grant= 48.25cm head circ.

I still don't see any resemblance, do you?
