I know...it's a little early for halloween

Our favorite holiday is slowly approaching. I couldn't resist these halloween houses at the store. Black frosting is hard to resist also.

Off the deep end

Ava and Grant are taking a crash course swimming lesson this week. Miss Morgan seems sweet, but she had them jumping off into the deep end on their fourth lesson! I guess it is worth it if they learn how to swim.

Puppies!

I almost forgot to post one of the highlights of the vacation...getting to hold the five-day-old puppies! They had just recently been born at Taku Lodge where we had grilled salmon and a close encounter with four black bears!

Cruise to Alaska

We just returned home from a week on the Star Princess along Alaska's coast. It was a beautiful trip, although a bit crazy with 22 family members. Four of the youngest spent most of their time running and screaming up and down the hallways.
